I am Susanne Kolster, an illustrator from Waalwijk, the Netherlands.

I often take a look at the world from a childs point of view. 
The child in me.
It surprises me every time what I see then.
The smallest surprises are the biggest gifts in life.
Waddling ducks along the waterside, a beautiful sky after a good rain shower.
The spider that creeps up along the chair leg.
These tangible moments in life not only touch me, but are also a source of inspiration for all my work.
They tell me a story.

My work is being recognizable by refinement and color.
My often lovely and sweet illustrations create either a dreamy atmosphere or let you truly experience an emotion.

For as long as I can remember, I draw. And I never stopped....

For years I have professionaly been working with children. All the experiences I have shared with these beautiful little people I can now bring to live on paper.

Besides illustrating I am a mother of 3, wife of a very sweet man, daydreamer, and I enjoy the quirkiness of our 2 cats. By illustrating, I would like to invite everyone who is attracted to this world of imagination to enjoy these surprises of life!
